Benjamina is a young Londoner who loves all things food and baking. She featured in the seventh and final BBC series of The Great British Bake Off, in which she was as a quarter-finalist.

She started off in teaching but since her Bake Off experience she has been pursuing a career in food, through her former blog Carrot & Crumb and now Substack Sweet Things, as well as food styling and working with social enterprise charity Luminary Bakery.

On her Instagram, she shares recipes, baking tips, life updates and foodie adventures.

Benjamina is the author of The New Way to Cake, published in 2019; A Good Day to Bake, published in 2022; and I’ll Bring Dessert, published in 2024.

She also founded The Sister Table with her sister, Bonita, a brunch club with the aim of bringing women together in a space to meet, eat and share.
